A New Perspective
Dear Editor,
Judge Joe V. Sutton has served honorably for over two decades in Superior Court 3 and is stepping down. Thank you for a job well done! Judge Sutton set a high standard for anyone taking over this job. We believe experience and personal character will be the keys for the new Judge.
Karin McGrath has the most experience and outstanding character upon evaluating those in this race. My wife and I can speak to Karin’s personal character as we have known her and her husband for over 20 years. We have always been impressed with her integrity, faith, grit, and fairness. Her attention to detail will set her apart and her work ethic will impress all of you as it has us.
She has handled thousands of cases in Kosciusko County including hundreds in Superior Court 3 both as Kosciusko County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and in private practice. In fact, Karin has more Kosciusko County criminal jury experience than any other candidates combined. She has served as Judge pro tem in Superior Courts 1, 2, 3, and 4.
A new perspective can bring about positive change, a new approach, and fresh ideas. Karin McGrath represents that change and will bring a new energy to the bench. As a business owner, I want the presiding judge to take detail into consideration and make judgments based on the merits of the case and the law. Karin is detail-minded, yet tough and this is exactly what is needed for Superior 3.
We are awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild, and I am hoping I can tell them Karin McGrath was Kosciusko County’s first woman on the bench because she earned it and was ready for the challenge.
Join us in voting for Karin McGrath for Superior Court 3 Judge.
