WARSAW — The Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Family Safety Day Committee have made the decision to postpone Family Safety Day, which was originally scheduled for Sept. 19 of this year. the postponement is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Family Safety Day will be held in September 2021.
“It is in the public’s best interest to refrain from mass gatherings until the COVID-19 virus is under control,” said Michael Wilson, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory chief, via a press release. “We, as a public service agency, want to remain diligent to prevent the spread of the virus. We thank the community for their understanding and patience as we all work through this pandemic together.”
