Worthy To Step Up
Dear Editor,
When I heard that Dave Wolkins was going to retire from the General Assembly, I knew that whoever was going to succeed him had a big pair of shoes to fill.
Dave Wolkins was a kind, gentle representative who stood his ground and advocated for all of us. It did not matter if you were Republican or Democrat, Dave Wolkins stood tall and represented everyone in his district. I want the next person to represent District 18 to be like him.
The person that is going to do that is definitely Russ Reahard. When I see Russ around, Whether it’s volunteering his time delivering food to those in need during this crisis, or helping take food donations to food pantries, or volunteering in the community. For two years he delivered 1,000-1400 loaves of bread between ten food pantries.
The other person running in this race, is nothing like Dave Wolkins. Russ Reahard is clearly wanting to work for us, while his opponent is already taking big money from Indy groups like the State Chamber and donating more money to the House Republican Campaign Committee, which is The Establishment. Russ Reahard does not want money from establishment groups and doesn’t want to give campaign dollars to them either. Russ Reahard wants to work for us, while his opponent wants to work for the Establishment. When it comes down to it, Russ Reahard is my choice for State Representative because he will represent us.
I hope that you all vote for Russ on June 2 because he is for us. For more information, you can follow his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/
