Warsaw Police Hire Three New Officers
WARSAW —The Warsaw Police Department has hired Paige E. Wood, Mason J. Metzinger, and Michael T. Damjanovic as probationary patrol officers, effective May 17.
Wood is a Warsaw Community High School graduate and resides in Warsaw. She attended Indiana Wesleyan University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. Prior to being hired by WPD, Wood worked four years for Warsaw Community Schools as an elementary teacher at Washington Elementary School.
Metzinger is a Warsaw Community High School graduate and resides in Warsaw. He attended Ivy Tech Community College where he received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Prior to being hired by WPD, Metzinger worked for Securitas. Additionally, Metzinger previously worked as a reserve officer for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Damjanovic is a graduate of Crown Point High School and recently moved to Warsaw. He attended Indiana University Northwest with a focus in criminal justice. He also completed six years with the Indiana National Guard and previously worked for the Porter County Sheriff’s Department. He is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
