Trump Orders Flags At Federal Buildings Lowered To Half-Staff Over Weekend

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump on Thursday ordered that flags on federal buildings will be lowered to half-staff over the coming days to honor coronavirus victims and members of the military.
The move comes after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, sent Trump a letter Thursday morning requesting that he order flags lowered to half-staff when the death toll from the coronavirus pandemic in the United States reaches 100,000.
More than 95,000 Americans have died from COVID-19.
