Suzie Light Retirement Party Rescheduled To Mid-August
Press Release
WARSAW — The retirement party for former Kosciusko County Community Foundation CEO Suzie Light has been rescheduled to Aug. 18 at the Winona Heritage Room.
According to a statement from KCCF, the event was rescheduled due to the current global pandemic. The retirement reception will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. open-house style, with a brief special presentation at 5:30 p.m.
Those who are unable to attend can send cards for Suzie to the Community Foundation office; or you can visit the KCCF office and a staff member will help you record a video message to be delivered to Suzie.
Many community members have also asked how they can honor Suzie’s years of service to Kosciusko County and KCCF. In response to those requests, the Community Foundation Board of Directors approved two new funds: the Suzie Light Visual and Performing Arts Fund, and the Suzie Light Nonprofit Leadership Excellence Fund. Donors can make an online gift or send a check via postal mail. If sending a check, indicate the name of the fund you wish to support.
RSVP for the retirement event is required. Call (574) 267-1901 or visit www.kcfoundation.org/events.
