Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 2:28 p.m. Thursday, May 21, SR13, North Webster. Drivers: Steven P. Coverstone, 64, Backwater Road, North Webster; and Galena S. Stocklin, 46, Hiawatha Drive, Syracuse. Coverstone’s vehicle rear-ended Stocklin’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 8:54 a.m. Thursday, May 21, Fisher Avenue, south of Fruitridge Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Kiley J. Seaney, 41, East CR 100S, Silver Lake; and Mary K. Carr, 31, 67th Street, Indianapolis. Seaney’s vehicle rear-ended Carr’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
- 5:37 a.m. Thursday, May 21, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Driver: Samantha S. Brown, 37, Spencer Avenue, Overland, Mo. Officers were dispatched to an accident that occurred directly in front of the entrance at Walmart. Brown complained of neck pain. Police noticed a strong odor of alcohol and performed a portable breath test on Brown. Police were unable to obtain information from Brown on how the accident occurred. Brown was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $5,000.
- 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Tyler K. Irvin, 16, Lake Street, Warsaw. Irvin was backing out of a parking space and said he attempted to brake but believes the floor mat was under the brake. His vehicle backed into a parked, unoccupied vehicle and pushed that vehicle into a fence. Damage up to $2,500.
