Martha Kulp
Martha Kulp, 95, Nappanee, died 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at her home. Previously, she was a resident of Waterford Crossing Health Center for for three and a half years. She was born June 20, 1924, in Nappanee, to Daniel and Ida (Weaver) Ramer. On July 25, 1943, she married Ernest Kulp and he died Feb. 3, 2009.
Surviving are a daughter, Rosemary (Ben) Shirk, Goshen, sons, Stan (Kathleen) Kulp, Elkhart, David (Phyllis) Kulp, New Paris, daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Kulp Heisey, Taylorsville, Mississippi, 15 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and a sister, Grace Shaum, Goshen.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, son, Dale Kulp, sister, Mabel Bauman and brothers, Harvey Ramer & Floyd Ramer.
Martha was a mother, homemaker and farmers wife. She was a member of the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church and worked as a cook and caregiver.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Friday, May 22, 2020, at Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church, Goshen. Home Ministry will officiate and burial will follow at Yellow Creek Wisler Cemetery.
