Kosciusko County Reports Six New Virus Cases

WARSAW — As of noon Thursday, May 21, the Kosciusko County Health Department reported six new cases of COVID-19. The county’s total number of positive cases is now at 68.
According to the Kosciusko County Health Department, at least 28 cases have recovered.
Statewide, the latest posting on the Indiana State Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 1,764, which is up from 1,716 reported on Wednesday, May 20.
The total positive number of COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 29,936. More than 202,000 Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19.

Locally, Whitley County has 29 positive cases, Fulton County has 46 positive cases and Marshall County has 51 positive cases.
Noble County has 161 positive cases and Elkhart County has 844 positive cases; Elkhart County’s number is up from 777 reported on Wednesday.
Wabash County’s case number remains unchanged at 71.
Cass County, which is south of Fulton County and includes Logansport, has 1,572 positive cases. In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 3,087 positive cases; Allen County has 1,139 positive cases; and St. Joseph County has 1,082 positive cases.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state at 8,815.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 294,000 people in the United States have recovered from COVID-19.
