Diverse Experience
Dear Editor,
I first want to thank publicly the Honorable Joe V. Sutton for serving as Judge of Kosciusko County Superior Court III since 1997. As a longtime social studies teacher, as well as being a local public official myself, I have a great deal of respect for the tremendous demands and major responsibilities associated with you being an elected county court judge for over two decades.
Second, I greatly admire all four candidates seeking this very prestigious position in our county court system. Having four candidates offering to take on these demands and responsibilities is not only a blessing for our community, but it is also an excellent reminder that our right to vote truly matters with the eventual outcome influencing the lives of so many citizens and families in our county for years to come.
Lastly, speaking of what matters to me in this particular election is the specific type of experience a local attorney will offer to Superior Court III as a newly elected judge. This is why I have been supporting Karin McGrath’s candidacy from the beginning. Since becoming a lawyer in 2010 (a refreshing and uplifting story in itself), Karin has not only prosecuted hundreds of cases in Superior Court III, but she has also served as a reliable and trusted defense attorney for several years. Her diverse amount of experience in our Kosciusko County Superior Courts – on both sides of the law and at times as Judge Pro Tem – makes her the ideal candidate to support in this primary election.
Bottom Line: Karin McGrath has “Experience That Matters” for Judge. Please consider joining me by giving Karin McGrath’s candidacy for judge your support on June 2, 2020.
