Indiana Beach Sets Tentative Opening Date
News Release
MONTICELLO – Indiana Beach is set to open its gates to the public once again on Saturday, June 27.
After a shaky beginning of the year for the park, Indiana Beach is gearing up to become operational again after Apex Parks Group folded and subsequently declared the park as permanently closed, according to a news release from the organization.
Many in the community were upset with this news, but the park is now alive again with new owners. Indiana Beach will be opening with a VIP celebration tentatively set for Friday, June 26, for the approaching 100-year anniversary of the park.
“As we approach our 100-year anniversary, we are kicking off our ‘Road to 100 Years’ project,” said a statement from the park’s new owners.
“This years’ fundraising efforts will be our Brick Paver Campaign. By supporting the paver campaign, you, your family, and loved ones will become part of the actual foundation of Indiana Beach. All proceeds from this initiative will go directly to infrastructure improvements throughout the amusement park as well as the campgrounds.”
Park lodging is set to open Sunday, May 24, along with the campground owned by the park. Indiana Beach offers townhouses, cabins, motel units, suites, and cottages.
