Kosciusko County Reports Seven New COVID-19 Cases

WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Health Department reported seven new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total number of positive cases to 46.
The spike in reported cases represents the biggest jump seen in Kosciusko County since the tracking began.
Statewide, the latest posting on the Indiana State Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 1,411.
The total positive number of COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 24,627. More than 146,000 Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19.
Marshall County has 34 positive cases, Noble County has 135 positive cases, and Elkhart County has 494 positive cases.
Whitley, Fulton and Wabash Counties’ case numbers remain unchanged at 22, 36 and 64, respectively.
Cass County, which is south of Fulton County and includes Logansport, has 1,524 positive cases. In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 2,493 positive cases; Allen County has 834 positive cases; and St. Joseph County has 829 positive cases.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state at 7,510.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 216,000 people in the United States have recovered from COVID-19.
