Warsaw High School To Hold Graduation Item Pickup Friday
Press Release
WARSAW — Warsaw Community High School Principal Troy Akers has announced details regarding the Class of 2020’s graduation item pickup times and routes.
On Friday, May 8, WCHS will have pickup times available for seniors to collect their Herff Jones orders, including caps and gowns. WCHS will also have Tri-Kappa awards and honors cords available. If students need to collect Tri-Kappa and honor cords, they must follow the green path around to that pickup area after they have their Herff Jones order. When seniors pull up to the Performing Arts Center entrance, a staff member will bring their order to the car. Students and parents are reminded to please remain in the vehicle at all times. Organizers will be wearing appropriate PPE, masks, gloves, etc., during this distribution.
According to a press release from Warsaw Community Schools, it would be helpful if the senior’s name was on a sign in the front window of each vehicle. Everyone is asked to please exercise caution and patience as organizers move this line along. WCHS staff are asking everyone to enter from SR 15 and turn left inside the high school drive toward the football field. Vehicles will queue up along the south horseshoe and get their order in front of the PAC entrance. drivers will exit straight out onto Logan Street.
WCHS has the following pickup time blocks divided up by senior last names:
- A-F — 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
- G-L — 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- M-R — 1 to 2:15 p.m.
- S-Z — 2:15 to 3:45 p.m.
WCHS is requesting that families make this a high priority for Friday. Students or parents can pick up items. If a student is absolutely certain that they are not able to pick up items on Friday, call the high school office at (574) 371-5099 to arrange for an alternate pick-up time.
