North Webster Library Offering Curbside Service

NORTH WEBSTER – The North Webster Community Public Library is now offering curbside service. Pickup of requested books, audiobooks, and DVDs will be available; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Mondays. 2 p.m – 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Fridays.
To request items, patrons are invited to visit the library’s website and browse the online catalog. They can then place holds on items from the library’s website using their online library account. They can also request items by calling the library at 574-834-7122 option 1, or sending an email to [email protected].
When calling or emailing, include a phone number. Patrons will be notified when their items are ready and given instructions on pick up procedures. Up to ten items per library card can be checked out.
To reduce person-to-person contact, returned items must be put in the drop box located in the North Webster Community Center parking lot. Following the federal Center for Disease Control guidelines, items are cleaned and quarantined for patron safety.
Document services are available 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays and 2 – 6 p.m. Thursdays for those needing help with photocopying, small print jobs, and faxing. Document services are free of charge and by appointment only. Documents will be given to a staff member to be copied, printed, or faxed according to patron instructions. Due to the library’s impending move into a new facility, the current library building will remain closed to the public until further notice. This will enable staff to prepare for the move. The new library facility is scheduled for completion in June.
