Jimmie Glen “Jim” Kuhn, 82, Syracuse, passed away at 8:20 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020, at Goshen Hospital. He was born on March 2, 1938, in Warsaw, to Glen & Blanche (Kline) Kuhn.
He graduated in 1956 from North Webster High School and was a United States Army veteran. He lived most of his life in the North Webster, Milford, and Syracuse areas. He was a former greens keeper for Tippecanoe Country Club in Leesburg for many years, former co-owner and operator of The Turf Bar in Milford and Lucky’s Bar in North Webster, and Kuhn’s Lawn Service in North Webster.
He was a former member of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge both in North Webster.
He is survived by his daughter, Tonya (Kevin) Schock, Syracuse; son, Stacey Kuhn, Syracuse; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Dixie (Robert) Likens, North Webster.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Joann Kuhn.
Graveside services will be at noon on Monday, May 4, at North Webster Cemetery with Pastor Stan Owen of the Syracuse Church of God officiating. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
