North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department Investigated the following accident:
10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 2. Near 306 South Main St., North Webster, Driver: Peter Hodges, 88, East Brown Road, Leesburg. Hodges was backing out of a parking spot when his foot slipped off the brake. He then hit the gas and ran into a parked vehicle registered to Jennifer J. Warner, North Harrison Street, Syracuse. Damage up to $2601.
Silver Lake
Officers with the Claypool Police Department Investigated the following accident:
8:31 p.m. Saturday, May 2. West of 5414 West High St., Silver Lake, Driver: Jeremy R. Cole, 39, North 400 E, Syracuse. Cole failed to stop for a traffic stop, drove at a high speed into a private drive, and lost control. Resulting in loss of control and crashing into trees. No injuries reported. Damage up to $15,001.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:03 p.m. Sunday, May 3. On US 30, near the Old Road 30 intersection, Warsaw. Drivers; Courtney M. Larkin, 24, US 31, Lakeville; and James T. Howard, 47, Jelynn Street, Raleigh, N.C. Howard was driving eastbound on US 30 and stopped at a red light and was rear-ended by Larkin. Damage up to $1,750.
2:51 p.m. Sunday, May 3. At 1301 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. Drivers: James E. Taylor, 40, East Sheridan St., Warsaw; and Annais J. Perales, 24, North CR 550E, Columbia City. Taylor was backing out of a parking spot and ran into the side of Perales’ vehicle. Damage up to $7,501.
9:42 a.m. Sunday, May 3. Near 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Ashley M. Ameigh, 28, North CR 800W, Warsaw; and Steven R. Anderson, 53, South Mcclellan St., Warsaw. Ameigh was backing out of a parking space at the same time as Anderson. Both collided with each other. Damage up to $15,501.
7:04 p.m. Friday, May 1. Near 590 West CR 300N, Warsaw, Drivers: Jessica L. Jefferies, 24, S Main St., Goshen; and Homer H. Gingerich, 42, US 6, Milford. Jefferies was driving northbound behind Gingerich on a private drive to the west side of Taco Bell. Jefferies said she thought that Gingerech was going to make a left turn, so she went to pass him on the right side. Gingerich, however, turned right into the Taco Bell parking lot. Resulting in Jefferies colliding into the right side of Gingerich’s vehicle. Damages up to $7501.
3:47 p.m. Friday, May 1. East of 1410 Center St., Warsaw, Driver: Michael E. Leatherman, 72, East Center St., Warsaw. Leatherman was traveling west in the alley behind his property when he struck a utility pole. Damage up to $7501.
1:18 p.m. Friday, May 1. On US 30, near the Old US 30 intersection, Warsaw, Drivers: Damon T. Goins, 45, North Oak Street, Buchanan, Mich.; and Nathaniel V. Glose, 42, 12B Road, Argos. Glose and one other passenger were traveling west on US 30 when he mentioned seeing police lights from the other side of the highway. Glose slowed down to give the police vehicle the right of way at the intersection of Old US 30. Goins and two passengers then ran into the back of Glose’s vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection. Glose did not report any injuries, Goins, however, had lacerations on his left elbow but refused medical attention. Goins also did not provide insurance information and was cited. Damage up to $35,001.
Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
9:41 a.m. Monday, May 4. Near North SR 13, South of East 150 N, Pierceton. Driver: Jack D. Cowan, 46, North Ogden Point Road, Syracuse. Cowan was southbound on State Road 13 when a deer hit the driver’s side door of his vehicle. Damage up to $7,501.
1:36 p.m. Friday, May 1. Near 2691 East US 30, Warsaw, Driver: David L. Carnes, 58, EMS T32 Lane, Leesburg. Carnes was backing up a trailer to load equipment and struck a parked vehicle owned by Green Team Turf. No Injuries reported. Damage under $750.
8:33 a.m. Friday, May 1. South of South 700 W near West SR 25, Burket, Driver: Alan Mast, 27, South SR 19, Mentone. Mast was driving northbound on County Road 700 when he struck a deer. Damage up to $15,001.

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
6:22 a.m. Sunday, May 3, Old US 31 and East CR 450N, Rochester. Driver: Tasha Shirey, Rochester. Hit deer.
9:12 p.m. Saturday, May 2, North US 31 and Monticello Road, Rochester. Driver: Trey Stesiak, Rochester. Hit deer.
10:39 a.m. Saturday, May 2, SR 14, Rochester. Driver: Beverly Burkett, Ora. Burkett’s vehicle struck a sign.
8:51 a.m. Saturday, May 2, CR 475E, off SR 110. Driver: Colton Francis, Rochester. Hit deer.
12:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, SR 114, Akron. Drivers: Connie Malott, Akron; and Lois Wonders, Rochester. Malott’s vehicle struck Wonders’ vehicle.
