Frances Yvonne (Baum) Sensibaugh — UPDATED
Frances Y. Sensibaugh, 92, Arbor Terrace Sudley Manor, Garner Dr., Manassas, Va., passed away at 11:25 a.m. April 27, 2020, at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Va.
She was born on Feb. 2, 1928, in a farmhouse near Claypool. Her mother and father were Trella and Cloice Baum. She graduated high school with the Mentone High School class of 1945.
She married Firman Sensibaugh on April 20, 1946. This year they marked their 74th anniversary. Together they raised two boys and advanced in their careers while living in Warsaw. She worked as a customer service representative at R.R. Donnelley, Warsaw.
She and Firman retired in 1987. They lived in Florida for over 15 years before moving to Virginia to be closer to family.
She is survived by her husband: Firman L. Sensibaugh; and her brothers: Royal Baum and Doyal Baum; her son: Jay and his wife Sandy; a daughter-in-law: Ann Paige Sensibaugh; five grandchildren: Cheryl Sensibaugh; Joe Sensibaugh and his wife, Jennifer; Lee Allen Sensibaugh; Jason Sensibaugh and his wife Michelle; Heather Lataille and her husband Joe; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her parents; a son: Lee Sensibaugh; a sister: Lois Hunter; and a great-grandchild preceded her in death.
Frances’s life will be celebrated by Pastor Michael Beezley of the Atwood Aldersgate United Methodist Church with a private family service at Oakwood Cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday May, 4.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
