Edward A. ‘Ed’ Russell
Edward A. “Ed” Russell, 62, Michigan City, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, at his residence. He was born on Nov. 29, 1957, in Knox, to Kermet A. and Marianne M. (Janik) Russell.
He lived most of his life in Starke County, graduated from North Judson High School, and moved to Michigan City, about ten years ago. He was a former welder for Galbreath Welding in Winamac for 25 years and was a former volunteer fireman in San Pierre.
He is survived by his son, Shaun (Sarah) Damron Russell, Goshen; three grandchildren; mother, Marianne Russell, Warsaw; sister, Cindy Russell, Etna Green; two brothers, Robter Russell, Tennessee; Joe Russell, Knox. He was preceded in death by his father and son, Edward “Eddie” Russell Jr.
**Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus, cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A Celebration of Life services will be scheduled at a later date. Private burial will take place in the Highland Cemetery in North Judson at a later date. **
