Patricia I. Lytle, 82, Rochester, passed away at 10:25 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Woodlawn Hospital.
On Feb. 14, 1938, Patricia Irene Henry was born in Winamac. She was a treasured daughter of Harry and Wilma Irene Kersey Henry. Growing up Pat shared her childhood with two sisters Peggy and Sandy and a brother Donald. She graduated from Thornton High School of Harvey, Ill.
In May of 1960, Pat and James David Lytle were married in Cook County, Ill. From their union came three wonderful children Pam, Patty and Jim. The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of four grandchildren.
Most will remember Pat’s cheerful disposition and warm smile as she served her customers at the local Dollar General. Reading mysteries and suspense books and the love of playing BINGO were always enjoyed. Pat was a member of the Women of the Moose since 2006.
Left to cherish Pat’s memory are two daughters, Pam Lytle of Beecher, Ill.; Patty Lytle-Kline of Cameron, Wisc.; son James “Jim” Lytle and wife Terrie of Warsaw; four grandchildren: James, Jolene, Samantha, Haley; two sisters, Sandy Bloom of Rochester, Peggy Parzygnot and husband Stan of Leesburg; brother, Donald Henry and wife Mary of Crown Point; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Pat in death are her parents, Harry and Wilma Henry, and husband, James Lytle.
Private family services will take place.
