Lakes Festival Cancelled, But Other Plans In the Works
WINONA LAKE – The annual Northern Indiana Lakes Festival will not go on as planned.
Instead, some of the events will be featured later this year, according to a statement on the group’s Facebook page.
The festival had been scheduled for May 22-23 in Warsaw.
“Due to COVID-19’s unpredictability, the Lakes Festival has been cancelled for 2020. Our community’s safety is of primary importance during this uncertain time,” the statement said.
Instead, the statement said, several Lakes Festival components will be changed into stand-alone events later this summer and fall.
More details to come.
The festival is run by Lilly Center For Lakes and Streams, Grace College and supported by numerous sponsors.
