Beverly A. ‘Bev’ Flannery
Beverly A. “Bev” Flannery, 73, Milford, passed away at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident south of Warsaw. She was born on June 18, 1946, in Warsaw, to Farrell and Virginia (Heagy) Cain.
She graduated in 1964 from Warsaw High School and was a lifetime Warsaw and Milford area resident. She was married on June 9, 1972, in Milford, to Orris Flannery who preceded her on Aug. 18, 1998. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and childcare provider and formerly worked at Campbell IGA in Milford for ten plus years as bakery and deli manager.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Lions Club both in Milford. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star in Milford and was active in the T.O.P.S. group in Goshen.
She is survived by two daughters: Becky Miller and Roberta (Jim) Long both of Syracuse; two sons: Larry (Missy) Flannery and Kent Flannery, both of Milford; nine grandkids; and one great-granddaughter; sister: Barbara (Ed) Cotton of Warsaw
She was preceded in death by her parents, great grandson, Merick Garlinger, and an infant brother, Larry Cain.
**Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus, cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A public visitation and memorial service to celebrate her life will be scheduled at a later date with private family burial in the Milford Cemetery. ** Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
