More Than 6,300 Hoosiers Have Tested Positive For COVID-19
INDIANAPOLIS — More than 6,300 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state of Indiana.
According to the Indiana State Department of Health, 245 people have died due to COVID-19, which is an increase from 203 deaths reported on Wednesday.
The number of positive cases in Indiana totals 6,351, up from 5,943 cases reported on Wednesday.
The number of total tests administered is 32,133.
Locally, Kosciusko County has 16 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with one virus-related death reported. Fulton, Whitley and Marshall Counties’ positive case numbers remain unchanged from yesterday at three, eight and 11, respectively.
Wabash County has six confirmed cases; Noble County has 13 cases; and Elkhart County has 56 cases.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state, with 2,415.
In northern Indiana, Lake County has 525 positive cases; St. Joseph County has 150 positive cases; and Fort Wayne has 105 positive cases.
