Local Church Gives To Non-Profits Amid COVID-19
WARSAW – New Life Christian Church and World Outreach is giving back to the community with a donation of $5,000 to Combined Community Services and $5,000 to The Salvation Army of Warsaw. These two organizations continue to serve Kosciusko County during the COVID-19 outbreak.
While CCS has closed the building to the public, they are continuing to provide most services. The food pantry is open as a drive-up service on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Salvation Army is open daily and are continuing their services as well.
New Life Christian Church and World Outreach, founded by Pastor John and Debbie Lowe, has been in existence since 1983.
Pastor Lowe said the donation “reminds people that we have two great agencies locally who are making a real difference.” He added “It’s not about us, it’s not even about our church as a corporate group of local believers. It’s about the greater vision of the Kingdom of God reaching down in this world where people are really hurting and helping people to come out of poverty and meeting their needs.”
