Gregory J. Cosgrove, 70, of Lee’s Summit, Mo. passed away on February, 21, 2020, after a long battle with cancer.
Greg was born on January 25, 1950 in Warsaw, to Joseph F. Sr. and Regina (Waterson) Cosgrove.
He married Diana Hill on August 23, 1975, in Mentone.
Greg was raised in Warsaw and was a 1968 graduate from Warsaw Community High School. He was a proud Marine and Vietnam veteran joining the force in 1969.
After graduating from Indiana University in 1975 he and his wife moved to Raytown, Mo.
Greg enjoyed working in the Orthopedic sales business for 45 years finishing his career with Smith-Nephew.
Greg most enjoyed spending time with family and friends along with working on his cars and working in his yard although his grandchildren were his pride and joy.
He is survived by his loving wife Diana, daughter Valerie Cosgrove, Lees Summit, Mo., son Kevin (Alicia) Cosgrove, Springfield, MO and respectively his grandchildren Jillian Landstiener and Clive Cosgrove.
He is also survived by a beloved sister Jean (Mitch) Brown, Warsaw, father-in-law Robert J Hill, Mentone, and brother-in-law John (Debbie) Hill, Atlanta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Mark, William, and Joseph Jr. Cosgrove.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baker’s Youth Club at 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw.
