More Than 4,000 Hoosiers Test Positive For COVID-19
INDIANAPOLIS — More than 4,000 Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
The latest posting on the ISDH website shows the number of deaths increased from 101 on Friday morning to 127 on Saturday evening.
The number of positive cases in Indiana totals 4,411, up from 3,437 on Friday.
The number of total tests administered is 22,652.
Locally, Kosciusko County has 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Fulton County has two positive cases. Whitley and Marshall Counties each have six positive cases. Noble County has reported 11 positive cases, and Elkhart County has reported 35 positive cases.
Three people in Elkhart County have died due to COVID-19. Noble and Whitley Counties also have each had one COVID-19 fatality.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state, with 1,760.
In northern Indiana, Lake County has 335 positive cases; St. Joseph County has 102 positive cases; and Allen County has 63 positive cases.
