INDIANAPOLIS — More than 100 Hoosiers have died due to COVID-19, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
The latest posting on the ISDH website shows the number of deaths increased from 78 on Thursday to 101 on Friday morning.
The number of positive cases in Indiana totals 3,437, up from 3,039 on Thursday.
The number of total tests administered is 16,900.
Locally, Kosciusko County has eight confirmed cases of COVID-19. Whitley and Marshall Counties each have four positive cases. Noble County has reported five positive cases, and Elkhart County has reported 29 positive cases.
Three people in Elkhart County have died due to COVID-19.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state, with 1,429 positive cases.
In northern Indiana, Lake County has 244 positive cases; St. Joseph County has 72 positive cases; and Allen County has 58 positive cases.
