More Than 75 Virus-Related Deaths Reported In Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS — More than 16,200 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Indiana as of Thursday, April 2, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
The latest posting on the ISDH website shows the number of deaths increased from 65 on Wednesday to 78 on Thursday morning.
The number of positive cases in Indiana totals 3,039, up from 2,565 on Wednesday.
The number of total tests is 16,285.
Locally, Kosciusko County maintains its five confirmed cases of COVID-19. Whitley and Noble Counties each have three positive cases. Marshall County has reported four positive cases, and Elkhart County has reported 27 positive cases.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state, with 1,304 positive tests.
In northern Indiana, Lake County has 215 positive cases; St. Joseph County has 65 positive cases; and Allen County has 46 positive cases.
