Margaret Ramer
Margaret Ramer, 88, New Paris, died 2:20 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2020, at her home. She was born March 17, 1932, in Goshen, to Monroe and Annettie (Shaum) Martin Sr. On Sept. 6, 1953, she married James M. Ramer and he died June 3, 2017.
Surviving are five children, Beverly (William) Stauffer, New Paris, Velma (Irvin) Martin, Nappanee, Galen (Cheryl) Ramer, Goshen, Carol Jean (Dana) Shirk, Cass City, Michigan, Sheila (Richard) Zimmerman, Goshen, 28 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Carrie Ramer, New Paris, Verna (Merle) Zimmerman, Elkhart, Carol (Ray) Eberly, Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, three sisters-in-law, Pauline Martin, Goshen, Lois Martin, Nappanee and Edith Martin, Goshen.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, son, Bernard Ramer, great-grandson, Blaine Stauffer, sister, Lizzie Hoover and 6 brothers, Maynard Martin, Monroe Jr. Martin, Gerald Martin, Harold Martin, Kenneth Martin and Charles Martin.
Margaret was a homemaker and faithfully supported her husband in his ministry. She was a member of the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church.
Private family services will be held and burial will be in Yellow Creek Frame Cemetery.
