Greetings From The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber
By RENEA SALYER, Chamber Executive Director
By now, you are aware of Gov. Eric Holcomb’s executive orders and what that means to you. If you need any clarification, by all means, reach out to the chamber. We are here to assist the community in any way within our capacity.
With that said, the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce will cancel all functions of the chamber. The office will be closed until April 7 and staff will be working remotely from home and available by email or phone. Our number is (574) 457-5637 and has been forwarded to me. I will be working on assisting local businesses with needs and planning for the future after the virus threat is over.
I would like to hear from the community and businesses on what assistance you would like to see now and going forward. Please email me at [email protected].
The chamber’s website, swchamber.com, offers links to helpful information for the community and members. We have a page for volunteer opportunities with updates coming soon. Keep it in mind when you are looking for a place to volunteer once the stay at home order is lifted. Members and the community can submit their volunteer openings to the chamber at [email protected]. Let us know what your volunteer needs are.
Syracuse To Go
The chamber has created a list of restaurants open for takeout; it is called Syracuse To Go! We are so pleased with how well the community has been supporting our local restaurants. Keep up the good work! We at the chamber are so proud of you for making this a priority. Syracuse is a great place to be. To get a list of Syracuse area restaurants, you can download it at swchamber.com.
Please know, we will get through this difficult time together, and Syracuse will come out strong. We are working on ways to assist now and after to keep our economy strong. Your support in staying home and being safe is greatly appreciated. By doing so, it will help us to get past this faster.
Be well, Syracuse friends.
