INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association announced its levels of choices for its All-State selections for the 2019-20 boys basketball season.
The IBCA issued its picks in the form of Supreme 15, Large School All-State, Small School All-State and Honorable Mentions for both seniors and underclassmen.
Among the selections for the honors was NorthWood senior Trent Edwards. The 2019-20 IFN Player of the Year was selected as an Honorable Mention All-State for the senior group.
For the senior class, Culver Academy’s Trey Galloway and Westview’s Charlie Yoder were among the Supreme 15. Mishawaka Marian’s Jerry Bracey was picked for Large School All-State and both Trent Daughtry of Wabash and Cooper Hochstedler of North Judson were on the Small School All-State list.
Senior Honorable Mentions include Deontae Craig of Culver Academy, Michael Florin of South Bend Trinity, Hayden Jones of East Noble, Will Larkin of Winamac, Hunter Perlich of Churubusco, Jylen Petty and DeMarcus Vaughn of South Bend Washington, Preston Phillips of Jimtown, Hunter Schanlaub of Caston, Alex Stauffer of Northridge and Elijah Vander Velden of Wabash.
The Underclass Supreme 15 had South Bend St. Joe’s JR Konieczny and South Bend Riley’s Blake Wesley make the cut. The Small School All-State had Central Noble’s Connor Essegian and Churubusco’s Landon Jordan on the list.
Underclass Honorable Mentions include a trio from South Bend Adams in Quentez Columbus, Sidney Jefferies and Brayden Saxton, the Northridge pair of Sam Smith and Carter Stoltzfus, Jake Reichard of Plymouth, Jackson Paul of Churubusco, Brett Sickafoose of Whitko, Deaglan Sullivan of Mishawaka Marian, Will Terry of South Bend St. Joe and Sawyer Yoder of Central Noble.
