Indiana Records Second Coronavirus Death
INDIANAPOLIS —The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced on Tuesday, March 17, the second Indiana death from COVID-19.
According to a press release on the ISDH website, the patient was a Johnson County adult over age 60 who had been hospitalized. No further information about the patient will be released due to privacy laws.
ISDH has received six new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of positive cases in Indiana to 30. The new cases involve residents of Lake (2), Franklin (2) and Marion (2) counties.
