A Dozen New Closing, Cancellation Announcements For Kosciusko County
WARSAW – Here are several more event changes as a result of the coronavirus crisis:
- A meet and greet with candidate Craig Snow, scheduled for 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, morning has been canceled. Snow is a candidate running for State House District 18.
- Eastlake Skating Center will be closed until at least Thursday, April 2.
- Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club’s oratorical contest, scheduled for Friday, March 20, has been postponed.
- Alzheimer’s fundraiser by “Walk in My Shoes” event scheduled for April 4 is canceled.
- Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary has suspended noon Tuesday meetings at The Sleepy Owl until further notice.
- Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation has canceled its Earth Day Celebration, which was scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
- North Webster Legion Post 253 is closed until further notice. Check with the Legion regarding carryout service.
- North Webster Community Center closed all fitness rooms including yoga, cardio pilates, drumming, iron girl, etc., the gymnasium and meeting rooms such as the party room and banquet hall, until further notice. This does not include the YMCA. No children will be allowed in the facility under the age of 16 without a parent or guardian.
- Both Coffee & Canvas classes scheduled for March 21 and March 28 at the North Webster Community Public Library have been canceled. If you signed up through the instructor, Karla Hayden, contact her for a refund. If you signed up at the library, contact Adult Services Director Beth Smith for your refund. The classes will be rescheduled at a later date.
- Syracuse Public Library is closed until further notice.
- Milford Public Library is closed until April 1.
- North Webster Community Public Library will close at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, until further notice.
