Beverley J. Sutton, 85, Goshen, died 4:20 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2020, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Mooreland, to Carl and Neata (Waltz) Hoover.
Surviving are four children, Cynthia Charles, Etna Green, Kent (Mila) Sutton, Winder, Georgia, Phillip (HyeSun) Sutton, Lula, Georgia, Lynnette (Willy) Thomas, Goshen, eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two brothers, Gerald (Pam) Hoover and Steve Hoover, both of Norwalk, Ohio.
Preceding her in death are her parents and a grandchild, Tyln Thomas.
Beverley retired as a housekeeper at Goshen Hospital. She was a member of Grace Community, where she attended since its inception; active in a small group and volunteered as much as possible at the church. Beverley enjoyed family time.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 13, and one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday, March 14, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Burial will follow at Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Pastor Allen Stevens, nephew, will officiate.
Memorial donations may be directed to the funeral home for expenses.
