Sonya L. Stutzman, 60, Milford, died at 12:30 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, at her residence. She had been in ill health since 2018. Sonya was born July 4, 1959, in Elkhart to Lamar D. and Ann Marie (Enyeart) Stutzman.
Sonya lived her lifetime in the Syracuse, Milford area. She was a 1978 graduate of Bethany Christian High School. She had worked as a custodian at Wawasee High School for many years. Sonya grew up attending the North Main Street Mennonite Church. She enjoyed being with friends and doing word search puzzles.
Surviving is her son, Derek, Milford; sister, Charolette (William) Yoder, Millersburg; and brothers, Philip (Sue) Stutzman and Greg Stutzman, both of Milford.
Family and friends may call from noon-2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral Service will begin at 2 p.m. Pastor Todd Eash will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
