Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
9:37 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 1200 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Drivers: Karl R. Waugh, 62, East CR 1050N, Milford; and Randall C. Smith, 45, Falcon Lane, Goshen. Waugh was backing his vehicle when he struck Smith’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:31 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, West Main Street, east of North Washington Street, Warsaw. Driver: Devan M. Adams, 30, West Main Street, Warsaw. Adams was traveling east on West Main Street when he rear-ended a parked, unoccupied vehicle owned by the Kosciusko County Board. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
8:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 100 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. Driver: Shauna L. Gibson, 30, East CR 400N, Pierceton. Gibson’s vehicle rear-ended a parked vehicle at CVS. Damage up to $2,500.
2:49 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, East Center Street, near North SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Kendra J. Lancaster, 17, East Main Street, Warsaw; and Allan L. Disbro, 81, 6th Street, Winona Lake. Lancaster was traveling on East Center Street when she rear-ended Disbro’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
2:27 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 1140 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: David L. Carnes, 58, EMS T32 Lane, Leesburg; and Mary J. Prater, 56, Canterbury Lane, Warsaw. Carnes was backing his vehicle from a parking space when he struck Prater’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
3:57 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, Anchorage Road, west of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Cindy K. Reyes, 42, St. Mary’s Drive, Warsaw; and Rebecca P. Lowe, 56, East Burkhart Drive, Warsaw. Reyes was traveling east on Anchorage Road when she attempted to turn left into a private drive. As she did so, she turned in front of Lowe’s vehicle. Reyes complained of head and neck pain as a result of the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
8:22 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, West US 30, west of CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver: Carl E. Saxton, 55, Fernwood Drive, Burnswick, OH. Saxton was traveling west on US 30 when he decided to pull off to the right shoulder. As he did so, his vehicle rolled into an embankment, becoming stuck. Saxton said his vehicle had been dealing with an exhaust leak in the cab and was checked by medics at the scene. Damage up to $2,500.
