Library Game Show Coming Soon To Milford Public Library
MILFORD — The Winter Adult Reading Program is still going on at the Milford Public Library.
Be on the lookout for the library game show “Imagine Your Prize”. This goes along with this year’s theme, “Imagine Your Story”. Patrons, 18 years of age and older are encouraged to keep signing up, said a news release from the Milford Public Library.
The program will end on March 31. For each book, Ebook or audiobook read or listened to you may enter your name in a drawing for a prize. The library is giving away a variety of prizes. Previous winners have gotten gift cards, travel mug and coffee, a movie package with popcorn, candy, a two-liter of pop and a movie. Check out the library’s Facebook page to see the videos of the first four winners.
Milford Public Library offers preschool Story Time several times a year. Staff members organize this program for children, ages 3 – 6. Children enjoy books, crafts, and snacks. It’s always a fun time for all involved. If you would like more information, please call the Library at (574) 658-4312.
This is a great way for children to become comfortable in a classroom-like setting and to make new friends, said the news release. New Beginnings, the local daycare, also gets to be a part of this program. A staff member takes the stories each week to the daycare. We read several books, depending on the age of the children and take a snack for each child. The children are always so excited to see someone from the library come to read to them.
