Indiana Chamber Releases List of ‘Best Places to Work’, OrthoPediatrics Makes List
INDIANAPOLIS – More than 100 Hoosier companies have bragging rights to tout to potential employees or clients. The businesses have been named to the 2020 Best Places to Work in Indiana list, which is presented by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber Wednesday released the list of companies that made the initial round. In April, a ranking of the 125 businesses will be released during the chamber’s annual awards dinner.
“No matter where a company finishes, this program provides vital information that will only enhance organizations going forward,” said Indiana Chamber of Commerce President Kevin Brinegar. “We are encouraged that year after year companies return to the competition for this benefit, plus we see a number of new faces take advantage of this rather unique opportunity.”
Of the 125 companies on the list, 38 are first-time honorees or have returned to the list following at least a year’s absence.
The chamber says the list of top companies was determined through employer reports and comprehensive, confidential employee surveys.
Winners were selected from four categories of staffing sizes, ranging from small (15-74 employees) to major companies (1,000+ employees).
Brinegar says the chamber continues, “to be impressed with the quality of employers, their strong workplace cultures and best practices they have in place that both strengthen the company and the employer-employee relationship.”
The chamber points out two companies have been on the list for all 15 years of the program: Katz, Sapper & Miller and Edward Jones.
Warsaw’s OrthoPediatrics was the only Kosciusko County medium business to make the list.
