Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:48 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, West Jefferson Street, east of South Washington Street, Warsaw. Driver: Britt M. Fansler, 35, West Woodview Drive, Cromwell. Fansler’s vehicle became stuck on east-west railroad tracks, causing damage to her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
6:49 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, SR 15, near East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Johnnie M. Fick, 66, North Woodland Acres Drive, Syracuse; and Jayden C. Leake, 17, North Southwinds Trail, Warsaw. Fick was traveling south on SR 15 when he disregarded a red light, striking Leake’s vehicle. Fick complained of chest pain but refused medics at the scene. Leake complained of knee pain but refused medical treatment. A passenger in Leake’s vehicle, William R. Huerta, 17, Warsaw, complained of arm and head pain but refused treatment at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
5:50 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, East US 30, near East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Juan J. Olivia Salas, 40, East Wooster Road 27, Pierceton; and Thomas R. Miller, 82, Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Olivia Salas was traveling east on East US 30 when his vehicle entered the intersection, striking Miller’s vehicle. Miller’s traffic signal was a green arrow at the time of the accident. Damage up to $5,000.
3:43 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, East Center Street, east of North Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jessica Brito, 37, East CR 200N, Warsaw; and Stephanie L. Miller, 51, South CR 900W, Kimmell. Brito was traveling west on East Center Street when she rear-ended Miller’s vehicle. Brito complained of chest pain but refused medical attention at the scene. Damage up to $5,000.
11:47 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, Lake City Highway, east of Springhill Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Alan L. Hoffer, 56, South Columbia Street, Warsaw; Laurie H. Karr, 52, Brentwood Court, Powell, OH; and Charity L. Conway, 21, Queen Road 7, Plymouth. Hoffer was traveling west on Lake City Highway when he rear-ended Karr’s vehicle. This caused Karr’s vehicle to rear-end Conway’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
