Titiksha Gorhe Wins Kosciusko County Spelling Bee
WARSAW — Titiksha D. Gorhe won the Kosciusko County Spelling Bee held at Lakeview Middle School on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Her parents are Devendra and Pradrya Gorhe. The second-place finisher was Ishida Pandey, and her parents are Vinay and Rashmi Pathala.
Students from 20 schools competed for the right to represent Kosciusko County.
Gorhe will compete in the 66th annual Journal Gazette Spelling Bee presented by STAR Financial Bank on March 7. Over 12,000 students compete to participate in the regional spelling bee held at PFW’s Recital Hall in the Rhinehart Music Center. The regional spelling bee winner will represent 15 counties in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio at the Scripps National Spelling Bee near Washington, D.C. in May.
