WARSAW – The vacant gas station at the corner of North Detroit Street and Canal Street in Warsaw is coming down.
Work began Wednesday, Feb. 5 and demolition should be completed within a few days, according to a spokesman for SiteWorx Hauling and Excavating, Warsaw. The store itself was leveled by Thursday morning.
The city acquired the lot and plans to use it as part of its park improvement plans.
