Kurt K. Kruger
Kurt K. Kruger, 66, Cromwell, passed away at 2:29 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1953, in Warsaw, to Loren and Betty (Barker) Kruger.
He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1971 and was a lifetime Kosciusko and Noble County area resident. He formerly owned and operated Kruger’s Jewelry in Ligonier, Goshen, and Elkhart, and Cruiser’s in North Webster. He was a talented musician and played with many local bands, including Short Term Memories, The Relics, and The Night Shift.
He was a member of the Clunette United Methodist Church in Clunette and the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
He is survived by his daughter, Keri (Adam) Whitmer, North Manchester; two sons: Kurt (Jennifer) Kruger Jr., Pierceton; Chad (Rachel) Kruger, Silver Lake; six grandchildren: Annika Whitmer, Hunter Dillon, Evan Kruger, Tarren Kruger, Elise Kruger, & Kaylee Kruger; sister Kay (Yut) Promkhieo of North Webster; fiancé: Linda Ozier of Claypool.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kris Kruger.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR. 13 and C.R. 500N, North Webster. A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6,in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating.
