Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accidents:
7:02 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Driver: Stephen C. Paul, 47, Walnut Street, Mexico. Paul said he fell asleep while driving. His vehicle went off the road and struck a utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.
12:01 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, County Farm Road, Silver Lake. Driver: Gerald S. Pitman, 52, West CR 500N, Huntington. Pitman’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
9:24 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, East CR 650N near EMS T48 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Donato Signmore, 54, EMS T41 Lane, Leesburg. Signmore was driving when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accident:
3:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, West Winona Avenue near South Hand Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Alexis A. Craft, 17, Lake City Highway, Warsaw; and Reese X. Bause, 17, Sandpoint Drive, Warsaw. Craft said she was driving south on Hand Avenue and stopped at West Winona Avenue. She intended to turn left in her vehicle and she did not see Bause’s vehicle and pulled out in front of his vehicle. The front of Bause’s vehicle struck the left rear of Craft’s vehicle. Craft complained of pain in her hand and arm. Damages up to $5,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 5:56 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, SR 25 and 375 South. Driver: Troy A. Blackman, 50, Fulton. Blackman’s vehicle collided with a deer.
- 6:20 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 1115 S. SR 17, Kewanna. Driver: Joyce Luhnow, Kewanna. Luhnow’s vehicle struck a deer.
- 2:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 1 Zebra Lane. Drivers: Ricky A. Snelling, 32, Rochester, and Miranda S. Townsend, 17, Rochester. The vehicles were involved in an accident.
- 7:31 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 550 North, between U.S. 31 and Old U.S. 31. Driver: Kylie Coleman, no other information available. A deer struck Coleman’s vehicle.
