Kosciusko County Among Lower Unemployment Rates In NE Indiana
WARSAW — Kosciusko County ranks among the counties in northeast Indiana with jobless rates below the national and state average.
According to December 2019 statistics released by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Kosciusko County has a 2.7% unemployment rate. The county ranks with many counties in the northeast part of the state that possess unemployment rates below the national average of 3.4%. The state average is 3%.
Elkhart and Wabash counties also tout a 2.7% jobless rate.
Marshall and Noble counties reported a 2.9% jobless rate.
Whitley County reported a 2.5% jobless rate.
Fulton County has the highest jobless rate near Kosciusko County, with 3.3%.
