Norma Lee Robins
Norma Lee Robins, 90, Rochester, passed away at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, at Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester.
On July 3, 1929, Norma Lee Bussert was born in Mishawaka. She was a treasured daughter of Palmer and Lola Calloway Bussert. Growing up, she shared her childhood with a sister, Marily. In 1948, Norma graduated from Rochester High School.
In Rochester, Norma and Clifford “Red” Morris were married on June 25, 1950. Their union produced two beautiful daughters, Vicki and Lisa. They were married nearly 20 years when he sadly passed away on June 4, 1970.
On May 19, 1973, Norma and Everett V. “Abe” Robins were married in Rochester. They were married for 32 years. He passed away on March 1, 2005.
For many years, Norma was a sales associate for both Shultz Brothers 5 & 10 Store and later Wiles Department Store of Rochester. To relax she enjoyed water aerobics. Norma was remembered as an amazing cook. Her memberships include Grace United Methodist Church and Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Left to cherish Norma’s memory are a daughter, Vicki Meyer and husband Michael of Rochester, step daughter, Cindy Squires of Macy; two step sons, Richard Robins and wife Jane of Denver, Robert Robins of Macy; three grandchildren, Angie Ksiazek and husband Brent, Amy Powell and husband Robert, Jamie Meyer; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Norma in death are her parents Palmer and Lola Bussert, husbands Red Morris and Abe Robins, daughter Lisa Wideman on December 15, 2006 and sister, Marilyn Staldine in May 2002
A celebration of the life of Norma Lee Robins will be at 1 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 24, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 11-1 in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
