Mishler Files For Another Term In State Senate
INDIANAPOLIS — Republican State Senator Ryan Mishler announced his filing to seek another term in the Indiana State Senate Representing District 9.
The district is composed of portions of Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties, said a news release from Mishler’s office.
First elected to the State Senate in 2004, Mishler serves as chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and chairs the State Budget Committee. In addition, he serves on the Senate Committees on Health & Provider Services and Tax & Fiscal Policy.
“Indiana is the fiscal envy of the nation, with low taxes, strong reserves, and a booming economy,” Mishler said. “I’m proud of what we have accomplished to keep Indiana moving forward and I hope to serve another term because we still have much more work to do!”
A graduate of Bremen High School, the University of Southern California, and the Worsham School of Mortuary Science, Mishler is President of Mishler Funeral Homes and the Bremen Monument Company.
