Divers Set NLC Table
MIDDLEBURY – Diving took the Northern Lakes Conference stage Friday evening for the preliminary round of the conference tournament.
Moved up from Saturday because of the weather slated for Saturday morning, the divers took their first eight rounds Friday at the Northridge Natatorium.
Leading the way heading into the finals is Northridge’s Kaitlin Simons, who posted a series of 370.35. Within range is Simons’ teammate, Jiselle Miller, who sits at 345.15.
With work to do but within earshot is Concord’s Brooke Farnham at 307.05, Northridge’s Mila Opacich at 288.10 and Concord’s Ryleigh Robinson at 283.95.
Rounding out the top eight are Maddie Copsey of Concord at 262.95, Claudia Marohn at 246.25 and NorthWood’s Reagan Koble at 231.65.
The finals will take place during the completion of the swimming championships that are slated for a 1 p.m. start Saturday at Northridge.
