Warsaw Man Faces Two Charges Of Domestic Battery
WARSAW — A Warsaw man faces two charges of domestic battery.
Adam Michael Hyde, 28, 2441 West CR 250S 30, Warsaw, was charged with domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
At about 10:14 p.m., Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, an officer with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of domestic battery.
Police arrived at an undisclosed residence occupied by Hyde, the victim and two children.
As police arrived, Hyde was yelling and out of control, according to the affidavit of probable cause. He was asked by police several times to calm down. He refused, said the affidavit.
Hyde allegedly became aggressive toward officers. He was restrained by police, handcuffed and placed in the police vehicle outside the residence.
That same evening, police spoke with the victim. She claimed Hyde hit her several times with a Vodka bottle. She claimed he struck her legs, stomach and head. She later received treatment at Parkview Warsaw for cuts on her nose and left side of her mouth.
