BOURBON – Triton announced its first college signee of the school year, saluting senior Ty Ferry in his baseball selection.

Ferry has chosen to continue his baseball and academic career at the University of Northwestern Ohio. He will join former Triton teammate, Zac Pitney, on the UNOH squad. The Racers also feature Wawasee graduate Gavin Barker and West Noble graduate Jace Dooley.

As a junior, Ferry was among the team leaders in hits, runs, RBI, batting average, stolen bases and extra base hits. Ferry played multiple positions as a junior, including a pitcher where he made over a half dozen appearances on the hill for the Trojans.

The Racers, located in Lima, were 19-27-1 in 2019, including 14 wins at home. UNOH competes in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference as an NAIA school.
