Sheriff’s Office Welcomes New K9 Officer
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office recently welcomed K9 Besz to their ranks.
According to the KCSO Facebook page, Besz was born in Ukraine in May of 2018 and is a Belgian Malinois. She is assigned to Deputy Craig Summers.
“K9 Besz and Deputy Summers will start training at Vohne Liche Kennels on Monday (Jan. 6),” said the post. “After the six-week training period, K9 Besz and Deputy Summers will be dual-purpose certified, which encompasses patrol and narcotic detection.”
