Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Sebastian E. Hoskins, 27, Pearl Street, Syracuse. Hoskins’ vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:34 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, Westwood Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Gladine D. McCall, 64, Old Ditch Road, Warsaw; and Robert Wilson, 74, Peachtree Lane, Winona Lake. McCall’s vehicle struck Wilson’s vehicle as McCall was making a left turn. Damage up to $10,000.
9:51 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, East CR 300S, east of Packerton Road, Warsaw. Driver: Jacob Wilson, 19, Tamarack Street, Warsaw. Wilson lost control of his vehicle on the icy roadway and his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. Damage up to $5,000.
6:48 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Jack M. Allen, 62, Windward Road, Fort Wayne; and Maria V. Camarillo, 35, Wooster Road, Winona Lake. The vehicles collided. Allen was not sure if he stopped at the stop sign before proceeding onto Wooster Road. Damage up to $10,000.

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
5:54 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, SR 25 north of CR 375S. Driver: Jase A. Montalvo, 40, Logansport. Hit deer.
12:32 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, CR 450N, east of US 31. Driver: Jason C. Spivey, 41, South Bend. Spivey’s vehicle went off the road and hit a pole.
8:51 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, US 31 and Third Street. Drivers: Stanley Haynes, 65, Chicago, Ill.; and Desirae M. Barnes, 20, Anderson. Haynes’ vehicle collided with the Barnes vehicle.
